Community Outreach

At Meridian, we believe that giving back is the best way to move forward. That’s why we support several organizations dedicated to improving the lives of pets and the people whose lives they enrich by making donations and sponsoring fundraising events:

Guide Dogs for the Blind

More than an industry-leading guide dog school, GDB is a passionate community serving people who are blind or low vision.

Operation Kindness

This Carrollton, Texas, shelter cares for homeless cats and dogs in a no-kill environment until each one is adopted into a responsible home. The shelter also advocates for humane values and behavior.

Kibbles & Cocktails

This annual event raises funds for DFW Rescue Me, which has adopted out more than 3,000 dogs in less than 7 years. All proceeds go to the Justice Fund, created in 2012 to honor Justice, a 4-month-old puppy who was doused with lighter fluid by four men and set on fire. Despite treatment at Texas A&M Veterinary School of Medicine, Justice lived only 9 days. The Justice Fund works to ensure that other dogs who are victims of abuse or neglect receive necessary medical care and the opportunity to know human kindness.

DogsLife

Dogslife mission is to remove the burden of having to make the impossible determination of the value of a dog's life who has been diagnosed with cancer by providing grants to dogs and their families for necessary cancer-specific treatment when it could not otherwise be afforded.
